Egemen Sanli

Egemen, also known as Ege, is a contemporary dervish who embarks on a journey to discover his own unique sound in world music while proudly representing his Turkish heritage. He skillfully blends various ethnic instruments such as the sitar, caglama, saz, santoor, ud, ngoni, kora, flutes, and more to create an enchanting and rejuvenating experience for his listeners. With a mastery of traditional Eastern ragas, he infuses his lively improvisations with beats, loops, and synths to further enhance the hypnotic atmosphere of his music. Based in San Francisco, Ege frequently performs in the Bay Area and is also a certified yoga teacher.
