The Heart of the City Band (also called Heart of the City and the Heart of the City Worship Band) is an intentionally multi-ethnic Christian band based out of the Minneapolis/St. Paul area of Minnesota since 1996. This group was founded by husband and wife, Dan and Sandy Adler. Dan is the leader, guitarist, songwriter and producer for Heart of the City. The band has 11 different ethnicities in it with the music representing the ethnic diversity of the band members - including Native American, East Indian, Gospel, Urban Contemporary, Reggae, Salsa, Bossa Nova, Modern Worship, Hymn styles and others - and multilingual songs. Additionally, this channel includes the other music written by Dan that has been recorded by him and Sandy on their various albums, as well as other guitar tutorial videos.
