From our humble beginnings in 1935, Sheffield has grown to be the miracle church in the heart of Kansas City's inner-city. Filled with people from every walk of life, every racial & ethnic background, every level of income & stature... you can come in and sit anywhere and feel at home... among friends. We don't care how you dress or where you come from, we only care about where you're headed, and helping you in your "Journey".
People around the world have heard about Sheffield, and when asked how we got to be so "successful" as a multicultural church... we have only and always had one answer...
...because we want GOD to be Glorified, and HE ALONE gets all the glory. We want a Church filled with a variety of people, just like Heaven.
We know we're broken... every last one of us, and we are totally dependent upon His grace, mercy, and power through the Holy Spirit to use us, and change us into what He knows we can be!
