Bali-based Soul and Kith is an alternative/indie rock band.
Aik Krisnayanti (vocals and guitar) and Ardi (guitar) founded it in 2018 in the format of an ethnic fusion duo.
Soul and Kith made their debut in 2018 with the single "Dream Away" and at the end of June 2020 they released their first mini album "Kacamuka."
Soul and Kith released the single "Don't Want to Be" in early 2022 after Michael Perwira replaced Ardi as guitarist. That year, the single "Huretoy Kor Kamuy", a unique song with lyrics in the Ainu language of the ancient Japanese tribe, was published in November.
After two years, Soul And Kith released an EP entitled "A Journey Unseen" on June 4, 2024 which was the catalyst for their formation as a band. Sagung Novi joined as bassist, and Thompson Sagala took over as drummer.
