Experimental Philosophy | ExPhi Channel Description Snapshot

Channel Description

How would predictive text software interpret Descartes? Can topic modeling tell us something new about Plato? What are everyday people's intuitions on Free Will or Hedonism? What are the trends in tweets about Epistemology?

An offshoot of the YouTube Channel Carneades.org (https://www.youtube.com/user/carneadesofcyrene), ExPhi is about trying new things with philosophy, testing the tools of other disciplines on philosophical texts, teaching computers about philosophy and more! Some of these projects will fit in the comparatively new discipline of "Experimental Philosophy" while others will look like cross-disciplinary research, or just strange things to try with philosophy.

Uploads here will likely be sporadic, less formalized, and more about testing new hypotheses projects and ideas than the original channel, but they should be more wide ranging, creative, and novel!
