Our mission is to deliver the best electric skateboards, longboards, and pure riding fun to people everywhere.
2009 – Backfire Skateboards is founded in China and the USA.
2010 – Backfire becomes an OEM supplier, distributing skateboards to over 20 countries.
2011-2012 – Backfire begins R&D in electric skateboards.
2013-2016 – Backfire releases the G1 electric skateboard and continues expanding global distribution.
2017 – Backfire launches the G2 electric skateboard.
2018–2019 – The G2S, G2T, and Ranger X1/X2 are released, establishing two major and highly popular product lines.
2020–2021 – Backfire launches the Zealot and G3 series, along with the Ranger X3 and Hammer electric skateboards.
2022 – Backfire introduces the ERA, ERA 2, and Hammer Sledge electric skateboards.
2023–2024 – Backfire releases the ERA 3, Zealot S2, G5, G5s, Zealot X, and Nalu.
2025 – Backfire releases the ERA 5, Zealot S3, Zealot X2, Ranger X6, and begins expansion into the electric scooter market.
