An attempt to educate new disc golfers about common mistakes we all make as we start to want more distance out of our backhand. My goal is to gather basic ideas learned from other content creators/coaches and put them in an even more condensed form that will be more accessible to newer players. The backhand throw is the most complex motion I've come across as a movement coach and putting in a little work to understand the mechanics will go a long way to avoiding common mistakes many of us deal with for years before we even know there is an easier way to get distance and accuracy.
