When our founder, a young MBA student and fitness enthusiast Atish Shah was living and studying in the USA, baby products were the last thing on his radar. But everything changed the moment he found out he’d become an uncle to the cutest little girl in India. Before his flight, he went shopping for baby clothes and toys. That one week of thoughtful gifting sparked a whole new purpose and eventually, Polka Tots was born. Back in India, he noticed a clear gap: a lack of quality, thoughtfully designed, and reasonably priced baby products in the market. From swaddles, strollers to baby carriers nothing seemed to check all the boxes for modern parents. So, we decided to bridge that gap. We handpick high-quality products from across the country (and beyond) to bring comfort, safety and style to Indian families, all at reasonable price.
