Lived for 34 years above the bluffs overlooking the historic & scenic Harpeth River. 5 years ago I started thinning out the undergrowth to build a trail & create a wildlife viewing area. I was elated to discover a whole world of river life which was very relaxing to film & enjoy.
A Native American village & burial site was located about a mile upriver from my location. Also, the first stagecoach road in the area ran very close to the river.
I have found Native American tools, early settler's artifacts & fossilized items including a 7 in long Saber-toothed tiger fang.
