International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

The International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) is the world’s leading professional body for board-certified aesthetic plastic surgeons. ISAPS' membership of more than 5,500 plastic surgeons from over 117 countries reflects the true international mission of the organization.

As the world’s leading professional body for board-certified aesthetic plastic surgeons, ISAPS' mission is three-fold: to continually educate our members in new procedures, techniques, and options in aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery; to accurately inform the public; and to promote patient safety.

To be considered for membership, ISAPS requires that all members maintain active membership in the national society of plastic surgery in the country where they practice. They must be sponsored by an Active or Life ISAPS member and they must adhere to a rigorous review process, which includes demonstrating their practice history beyond graduation from medical school.
