We used to be $120,000 in debt. Now we're living debt free (except the house). It took us almost 3 years to pay off our student loans, car loans, and credit card debt. Our monthly expenses were dangerously close to exceeding our income. We couldn't breathe. We were so far behind that we only spent $800 on our wedding, didn't take a honeymoon, and skipped out on buying wedding bands. We spent the first 3 years of our marriage working our faces off. We had 6 jobs between the two of us and almost never went out to eat. But now we're DEBT FREE!!!!
