Dr. Sarita Rao is a Sr. Interventional Cardiologist at Apollo Hospitals, Indore. She is the first female Interventional Cardiologist in Central India. She is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology(FACC) and a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology(FESC) even though she is an Ex-Consultant at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi.
She is the first female to do a Live TAVI Case in SAARC countries, and the First female to do Shockwave Lithotripsy IVL in India. She Performed the First Hybrid procedure for Aortic Aneurysm in Central India and the First successful Dedicated bifurcation stenting using AXESS bifurcation device in India.
She performed First to do LIVE Transmission at a National conference from Madhya Pradesh.
