The Fortune Band

Dr Dhananj Shivganesh and Nikhil Pradip together are The Fortune. A doctor-composer and an engineer-record producer from Kerala making music with other artists from around the world. Dhananj, Nikhil and Ashik, together started The Fortune back in 2012. After an year of making some music in their bedroom studio, they went into a long hiatus as Dhananj pursued Medicine, Nikhil and Ashik pursued Engineering. Fast forward to 2020, Dr Dhananj, who is an anesthesiology resident and Nikhil who is presently a sound engineer in Chennai reconnected and reinvented The Fortune with a new logo as a composer producer duo. Collaborating with other artists homegrown and overseas, they create music that is not bound by any boundaries - be it genre, content or production style. The Fortune has more than 150K streams on Spotify alone. The Fortune have been featured on Rolling Stone India, The Score Magazine, BBC Radio, Red FM, Singersroom, multiple editorial playlists on Spotify to name a few.
