National Debate Council (NDC) Uganda

National Debate Council (NDC) is Uganda's pioneer & most inclusive school debate education non profit. We've organised the legendary National Speech & Debate Championship (NSDC) since 2009. We use speech & debate as tools for building confidence, teamwork, research skills among young people. This is aimed at contributing to raising a new breed of leaders. With the Parliament of Uganda (who host the NSDC grand finale) & a host of other state & non state players, we use speech and debate as tools of advocacy; positioning young people to be at the forefront of the change they desire in their communities & country. We believe in a leveled ground & inclusivity where every young person regardless of which school they go to or which part of the country they come from, get the same opportunity to shine! We offer several platforms in debate, public speaking, poetry, essay writing, fine art, song, etc. We have also been privileged to lead students to international platforms in Europe & USA.
