Welcome!
I am Maria, I am a Romanian living and knitting in Norway since May 2022.
Knitting is my dear friend since 11 years ago. I've learned to knit when I was 5 but I become a true knitter about 11 years ago, a year after we received the first autism suspicion for our son who was about 2 years back then.
For 7 years, since 2017, I was knitting and selling as a job for professional photographers, knitting children outfits that were used at photography session, but this January 2024, I took the decidion to close my small business and concentrate on my new life, on my son progress and on personal knitting.
I knit every day, sometimes for many hours, sometime as theraphy, helping myself to focus on my son progress, searching always new ways on helping him. He is good now, he is almost 15, he is verbal (actually he speaks 3 languages) and high functional and despite our har journey, our difficult years, we are finally where we needed to be.
