Laura Kottlowski

Laura is a professional wild ice skater, multidisciplinary freelance creator & director, mountaineer, U.S. Figure Skating Gold Medalist, Professional Skaters Assoc. coach, and Learn To Skate USA instructor. For the past 16yrs she’s been hiking with her skates up to high alpine lakes and spends 50-200+ hours skating outside between October and May each year. She is well versed in reading and skating on various thicknesses of ice throughout the world. In November, 2017 she was the first known person to skate on the highest lake in the US at 13,420’. In December 2019 she was the first to skate on Gokyo Lake at 15,480' in the Khumbu region of Nepal and helped Nepal Tourism host the Highest Figure Skating Show and Ice Hockey Game on February 14th, 2020.
