Penn State World Campus meets students where they are, in their lives and in the world. Our global online learning platform allows us to embrace a diverse population of students, in support of the long-standing Penn State belief that the richness of the learning experience is enhanced greatly by the differing perspectives of our students, faculty, and staff. We empower our students to engage in active learning and to acquire knowledge from faculty, coursework, and peers that they can apply to succeed in their careers and enrich the communities they call home.
Mission: Penn State World Campus’ mission is to engage learners across the Commonwealth, the nation, and the world with access to affordable, high quality educational programs that leverage the talent, knowledge, diversity, and creativity of our faculty, our staff, and our students in order to provide robust learning experiences at a distance.
