After 25 years of living in Piedmont we have moved to Sicily and we love it here.
We are restoring our new house which is 5 minutes from the Mediterranean (Mare Nostrum to the Romans), and the historic Greek settlement of Selinunte and soon we will be sharing our life in our new home.
We are surrounded by olive groves, and this is one of Sicily's best wine areas, with fabulous wines and very inexpensive compared to Piedmont.
Marinella is a lively seaside resort and we are quickly being accepted by the local community. There is a daily fisherman's market in the form of an auction which is great entertainment, so we enjoy the freshest fish we ever had in our lives.
We are one hour drive from Palermo, also Trapani and Marsala is 30 minutes by car or train.
Please do join us as we explore the rich culture, food and wine of this area.
