It describes how the Gospel of Jesus Christ has the power to bind up the broken-hearted, bring freedom to the captives, comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve. They are given a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.
THIS is the power of the Gospel- It doesn’t just help you along or fix an aspect of your life, the Gospel makes you brand new. The old is gone, the new has come.
