Hello, I'm Alex Lafkas. This channel is dedicated to teaching you how to become a better fisherman. This isn't just another fishing channel. It contains fishing tips and strategies I've learned in the last 30 years, which are scattered throughout my videos. There will be a big emphasis on fly fishing but not limited to fly fishing. From casting, streamer and dry fly techniques, boat fishing, and everything else fly-fishing, it'll be here. I've spent over 30 years fishing and guiding for brown trout across the U.S. I base my operations out of Traverse City, MI, and spend 2 months a year on the White River in Arkansas. The last 10 years more effort has been focused on fishing aggressive techniques on lakes for bass, pike, and musky, on flies and gear. This has presented plenty of opportunities to learn, which has helped in all angling pursuits.
